days go by

i remember seven or eight years ago i wasnt the girl i am now

much more fresh

didnt have much to care about

love was a four-lettered word and loneliness never gave me hard time

and if i walked alone i would sing and smile in strangers faces

now...

i still walk alone

on my own

grateful for the many things i have

not regreting a thing i did

full of confidence in god's fairness and reward

but still have to fight loneliness back
